All the trees are loosing their leaves, and not one of them seems to be worried’. (Donald Miller)
The season of autumn calls us to go more inward. This event is a unique experience to celebrate autumn, go inside and discover what ‘Radicale Rust’ can mean for you.
Singer and Yoga Nidra teacher Jurko van Veenendaal speaks and sings to you during a yoga experience with Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. Jurko is accompanied by the beautiful sounds of singing bowl player Frank Klank.
“Sound cannot exist without silence, silence cannot exist without sound”.
Frank Klank is an experienced and passionate singing bowl player. He offers singing bowl events for years, accompanies other musicians, singers and teachers with his playing and has previously recorded an album with his singing bowls.
A second album will soon be released.
The sounds of Frank Klank brings you in contact with your body on a deep level. Blockades can be dissolved and new energy can flow into the body.
Jurko van Veenendaal, singer, coach in Inspirational Speaking and ‘Radicale Rust’ has a passion for connecting people with their higher self.
After his professional theatre career in which he starred in several musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Les Miserables, Jurko developed himself as a speech coach and coached several speakers from the international business and political world.
Currently he combines his work as a Coach in Inspirational Speaking with his passion for ‘Radicale Rust’. Jurko followed his training in Yoga Nidra and Restorative Yoga among others with Cristina Guerra.
The sleep of the yogi
Besides preparatory Restorative postures, Jurko takes you on the sounds of Frank Klank in a Yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is an ancient relaxation technique also known as ‘the sleep of the yogi’. During a Yoga Nidra, you only have to lie down and listen. During this “sleep yoga” your brain goes from an active Beta state through a calmer Alpha state to the deep rest of lower Theta and Delta brainwaves. Only there, with a healthy sleep, does your brain get the chance to process impressions, find solutions to difficult problems and recharge its batteries.
Regular Yoga Nidra practice improves vitality, reduces stress, improves concentration, deeper sleep and enhances creativity and problem solving.
Do you feel the need to consciously connect with your body again? Do you want to feel what possibilities are available to you at the moment that you really dare to stand still? Do you want to enjoy a beautiful recumbent concert of singing bowls and do you like soft yoga to rest and recharge?
